Friday night 6 pm to 9 pm Hanapepe town lights up with a festive atmosphere. Meet the local artists and gallery owners. Enjoy the music, a snack and good company as you stroll down Hanapepe Road.

Historic Hanapepe Walking Tour

Over 43 locations meet the State or National Historic Register Criteria. Many people start their walk at the swinging bridge, but you can begin at any point along Hanapepe Road. For more information on the walking tour, visit Storybook Theatre.

and Saturday March 28th from 9 am to 9 pm

Please join us for the 9th annual Kaua'i Orchid and Art Festival in Historic Hanapepe Town March 27th and 28th, 2015 Enjoy a free concert featuring Makana, great food and the amazing display of exotic, tropical orchids at the Garden Island Orchid Society’s Spring Fantasy Orchid Show. Plein air painters are invited to paint in various locations around historic Hanapēpē during the festival. Massage students will be on hand offering massage, and there wll be a craft fair and Silent Auction. There will be art workshops for adults and keiki, and children's activities offered. There's something for all to enjoy at the Kaua’i Orchid and Art Festival. Watch for updates on website: http://www.Hanapepe.org Entrance to all events are free with the exception of select workshops. Most events occur in at the Hawaiian Congregational Church unless otherwise noted

Children’s Art Workshop

with Caylin Spears

1 pm - 4 pm at Hanapepe Hawaiian Congregational Church

Caylin Spear, a Kaua'i artist and art teacher will be offering a free art workshop for children ages 4 and up. Adults are also welcome to participate and accompany younger children. All art materials will be provided. The opportunity to learn to paint orchids in the beautiful back drop of Hanapepe will be going on for three hours during the event, participants may come or leave anytime during that time and take home an original piece of artwork.
