Salty Wahine Gourmet Hawaiian Sea Salts LLC manufactures Hawaiian Salts and Seasonings specializing in tropical fruit infusions. Salty Wahine is proud in the fact that 85% of their end product is locally sourced and are members of the Kauai Made, Kauai Grown, and Made in Hawaii with aloha programs. Winner of 47 international product awards, Salty Wahine products are sure to tingle your taste buds.
History: Salty Wahine Gourmet Hawaiian Sea Salts LLC started in 2008 by owner, Laura Cristobal Andersland. Laura made her first rub at age 11 and has always made salt and seasoning. Laura decided to turn her passion of making seasonings into a business after retiring from a 30 year career in the visitor industry. Over the next few years, Laura grew her business into an international distribution. Laura has taught her son Sean and Sean's wife Jessika the business becoming winner of "Best family run Hawaii business" in 2017 by the Pacific Edge Magazine, and retailer of the year by the Hawaii retail association. Sean is the 5th generation to live on Kauai and is looking forward to teaching his daughter the business when she is old enough.
